A typical workday

During the daily huddle, your growth team — a mix of streetwise talents and seasoned pros across SEO, SEA, development, data, strategy, visual design, and marketing automation — walks you through where things stand with each client. You weigh in with advice, course-correct where needed, and make sure everyone heads into the day feeling inspired. Right after, you sit down with the strategist for a deep-dive on the Go-To-Market strategy and the key principles for a newly onboarded B2B company looking to generate traffic, leads, and sales on a structural basis.

 

After lunch, you team up with the growth engineer to build out marketing funnels for another client.

In between, you hop on a call with the visual designer, who needs your input on a campaign. Then you sit down with the HubSpot specialist to fine-tune a complex workflow.

 

You wrap up the day with an (online) client meeting, where you and the strategist from your growth team review the past month together with the client. And of course, you present the inspiring growth plans for the period ahead — so the client waves you off with enthusiasm, thinking back fondly on the day they brought SUM Digital on board. And you're reminded, once again, of the kick you get from constantly switching gears between marketing, project management, and account management.

Your promise to us

Whether it's data-driven marketing, strategy, content marketing, SEO, SEA, or marketing automation: as a T-shaped marketer, you have an overview of the entire growth marketing field. Thanks to your expertise and strong communication skills (in English and Dutch), you provide your clients with tailored advice to help them achieve their growth objectives. Besides being strong on a strategic level, you can roll out campaigns yourself and lead your growth team on content, while keeping a close eye on deadlines. 

What else do you need to bring to the table?

 

  • Extensive experience as an online marketer or growth marketer (preferably at an agency), where you ran successful (paid and organic) marketing campaigns.

  • You take responsibility for achieving results first and foremost. You are a rock-solid support for the client.

  • Excellent communication skills, as you're in contact with the client and at the helm of your own growth team. Proven experience in managing clients and/or a team.

  • You get energized by leading your own team of specialists.

  • You're able to switch between strategy and tactics and easily distinguish between main and minor points.

  • You can juggle multiple tasks (and occasionally pick up a dropped one).

  • Preferably experienced with HubSpot and project management.

  • Fluent in English and Dutch.
